The service.

Best Favicon Generator provides a free, browser based favicon generator and favicon maker. You may use it for personal and commercial projects without payment, registration, or attribution, although a credit is always appreciated.

Your exports.

Every favicon you export is yours. The built in icon library comes from Lucide, which is released under the permissive ISC licence and allows commercial use. Letters you type and emoji you choose remain subject to their own font licences, which for standard system fonts permit normal design usage.

Acceptable use.

Please do not use the tool to create marks that infringe trademarks, impersonate other brands, or mislead users. You are responsible for checking that your finished design does not conflict with existing rights in your jurisdiction.

Availability.

The tool is provided as is, without warranties. We aim to keep it fast and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use.

Changes.

These terms may be updated as the site evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the current version. Questions belong on the contact page.
